He just couldn't stay away. After spending a year in retirement, veteran girls basketball coach Chuck Miller has been hired as the new head girls basketball coach at St. Mary's.  Miller replaces Trey Quinn, who took over the Saints' boys program.

Taylor Hawkins recently graduated from Maryland Boys State 2017.   Taylor was one of 160 students from across the state selected to participate in the intensive weeklong leadership program sponsored by the American Legion.  Taylor is in the Class of 2018 here at St. Mary's. 

As a Catholic institution, the central piece to our graduation ceremony is Graduation Mass, offering students the opportunity to celebrate in the Eucharist their academic accomplishments and faith formation.

Last weekend, Nicole participated in her first bodybuilding competition at the 2017 OCB Frederick Fitness Classic in the Bikini category.

ANNAPOLIS - Dhane Blair wanted to go to St. Mary's High School in Annapolis. The problem? They didn't have a business program. So he came up with a rich idea, that's giving back to local charities.

The high school students of St. Mary’s are creating their own version of the popular show, Shark Tank.  

Traditionally, Spring Break is a U.S. phenomenon and an academic tradition, which started during the 1930’s in the United States and is observed in some other western countries. 

"You Can Two Can Workout" began 11 years ago and started with students bringing in 2 cans to use as hand weights for a workout class set to music.

St. Mary’s Parvis Scholar Program confers recognition and honor upon the most intellectually promising Christian leaders of St. Mary’s High School.

St. Mary’s started their Greenhouse Project about 3 years ago since we are a Green School and were given a greenhouse by a generous donor.

Cardinal Keeler served as the spiritual shepherd of the Baltimore archdiocese from 1989 until his retirement in 2007.

Our students are exposed to new things and pushed out of their comfort zone everyday. It's truly fascinating to watch them dive into a project and the results are spectacular!

St. Mary’s Parish and School is privileged to welcome one of its own parishioners, Haley Scott DeMaria, as the commencement speaker for the class of 2017 graduating class at St. Mary’s Parish and School. 

The high school students of St. Mary’s are creating journals to be used for therapy with women who are victims of violence, domestic abuse, and human trafficking.

Cameron Ehnat, a high school student at St. Mary’s, has been honored for his exemplary volunteer service with a Certificate of Excellence from The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards, a national program that honors youth volunteers nationwide for outstanding volunteer service.

Jazlyn Rivera, a high school student at St. Mary’s, has been honored for her exemplary volunteer service with a President’s Volunteer Service Award.

Sister was the Principal at St. Mary’s High School in Annapolis from 1983 to 1988.

Today is Read Across America Day! Our students are celebrating with books, hats and door decorating contests!

The Touchdown Club of Annapolis is about history, tradition and nostalgia. It is also about camaraderie and community.

We celebrated our founders (SSND and Redemptorist orders) today with Mass and lunch. Thank you to all those who joined us today!

Our High School students and teachers served our community by making 1000 sandwiches, 50 blankets, scarves, thank you notes for troops, cards for elderly and more! Such an awesome day for our saints. Thank you for supporting Catholic Schools. 

Wear a pair, share a pair! Students are dressed in pajamas as they share a pair of pajamas to be given to those in need. Books for all ages were donated as well! 

Thanks to PFA everyone was treated to Chick-Fil-A for lunch and students came out of uniform- Blue and White Day! We love our students!

We are starting to pull together costumes for our "Wizard of Oz" production at St. Mary's in Annapolis, MD.  

One of our amazing teachers, Debi Flynn, is a semi-finalist for the Teacher of the Year for Anne Arundel County Public Schools Independent Schools!

Congradulations to our high school teacher, Kirsten Brandler, for being part of the What's Up Teachers 2017 Edition.  She was choosen among others for being an inspirational leader in the classroom.  She has been with us at St. Mary's for seven years teaching 10th-12th grade AP Calculus BC, AP Calculus AB, Honors Calculus, Honors Pre-Calculus with Trigonometry and Trigonometry.

Congradulations to our elementary school teacher, Meghann Cannelli, for being part of the What's Up Teachers 2017 Edition.  She was choosen among others for being an inspirational leader in the classroom.  She has been with us at St. Mary's for four years teaching 2nd and 4th grades.
