High School Youth Ministry

“This is what is needed: a Church for young people, which will know how to speak to their heart, and enkindle, comfort, and inspire enthusiasm in it with the joy of the Gospel and the strength of the Eucharist…” (St. Pope John Paul II, 1995)

Our St. Mary's Youth Ministry program provides opportunities for all high schoolers (Grades 9-12) to grow in their faith, find fellowship with peers, and serve others in our community. Together, we strive to live out the universal call to holiness as missionary disciples.

We are open to all young people regardless of which school they attend or financial ability. Many events do not have a cost but for those that do, please confidentially contact Jacob Blackwell if you need assistance in order for your child to be able to participate. Any fees associated with events will be communicated. Donations to help fund social and service experiences are heartily welcome.

Sunday, Dec. 8: It's youth night: winter edition! Our monthly youth night will have all your favorites - witness talks, games, activities, small groups, prayer ministry, and pizza! Join us in Seelos Hall at St. John Neumann from 6 - 8:30 pm for a night of encounter with our living God! RSVP HERE!!

Monday, Dec. 2 & 9: We all know the story of the Incarnation, but what was it like from Mary's perspective? Join us in a two session discussion this Advent season about Mary's "advent" heart and Marian consecration. We'll be in the faith formation office at St. Mary's (white door to your left as you walk up the stairs from the parking lot) from 5:30 - 7 pm. Dinner provided! RSVP HERE!

Thursday, Dec. 12: Celebrate this holiday season at the Christmas party! We'll be having a potluck dinner and dessert (be sure to sign-up to bring something!), games and Christmas prizes, and more! Join us on in the Team House Franey Room from 6-8 pm for the holiday festivities you WON'T wanna miss!
